Trouble or Bug with Chyloth Quest in Doom

So while I'm farming for Doom Arties, I collect the Daemon Bones. Because Chyloth gives a tone a fame and I'm sure a huge bump to the Doom arty point process.
Anyway, I get the quest, drop the 1000 bones, the Bone Deamon is summoned...and every single time...7 now...that the Bone Deamon comes on screen...my client freezes, requiring a restart. Now I can deal with the freeze, I expect it now. But every time I have to restart I don't get the golden skull drop. Which is really irritating....
