Animal Taming

Animal Taming is one of the slowest skills to train in UO. If it isn't the slowest, it certainly requires the most work to raise than any other skill. I would highly recommend starting your character with 50 taming. The other option to get ahead of the training curve is to buy an Advanced Character Token.
Preperations:
0 - 25: Buy from an NPC in stable.
25 - 50: Put on your +25 taming gear and tame Brown Bears, Great Harts and Polar Bears.
50 - 85: Put on your +25 taming gear and tame bulls in Delucia or on North Jhelom island.
85 - 120: Take off your +25 taming gear and put on some Savage Kin Paint and go to Central Ilshenar to tame Ridgebacks. In the savage camp just south of Blackthorn's Castle, there is a a pen in the bottom of the camp where two spawn non-stop. If you don't have any Savage Kin Paint taming bulls will continue to get you gains all the way to 120.

- +25 Animal Taming gear. This is easy for an imbuer to make.
- Some Savage Kin Paint (makes taming ridgebacks WAY easier after 85)
