Rise of the Bane Chosen

The Ophidians pushed back the assault by the Bane Chosen. With enough loyalty a player can purchase Shatter Potions and Fear Essences from Ophidian Ttreshk the Ophidian Merchant and/or complete A Dish Best Served Cold given by Salis the Ophidian Cook to earn the recipe for Blackrock Stew. The loyalty point requirement for Ttreshk and Salis is currently unknown. They are both located in the Ophidian Lair in the Lost Lands [Current Events 1 - Ophidian Lair].

The Bane Chosen are currently camped just outside the Ilshenar Spirituality Moongate, preparing to attack the Meer in Lakeshire. Current information can be found here. Meigan the Initiate Guide [Current Events 1 - Miegan] is offering the Corrupted Book of Truth quest to those with at least 7500 loyalty points for the Bane Chosen.

The Queen is dead at the hands of the Bane Chosen's leader Virtuebane. The Queen has been laid to rest in her home town of Yew [Current Events 1 - Dawn]. Additionally, Blackrock Golems have been spotted roaming the remains of Magincia [Current Events 1 - Magincia (!)].

The war is over, but those loyal to the Ophidians can still complete the A Dish Best Served Cold quest given by Salis the Ophidian Cook to earn the recipe for Blackrock Stew and purchase Shatter Potions and Fear Essences from Ophidian Ttreshk the Ophidian Merchant.
